Dr. Aitza M. Haddad Núñez is a dedicated bilingual educator, attorney, and community leader with over 14 years of experience in advancing educational equity and justice. Her extensive background includes roles as a Spanish teacher, nonprofit founder, and administrative director for statewide commissions. Dr. Haddad Núñez is committed to fostering an inclusive educational environment that meets the diverse needs of all students, particularly those historically underserved.

What Dr. Aitza M. Haddad Núñez Brings to the Table

Dr. Aitza M. Haddad Núñez brings a wealth of experience to her candidacy for the Washington County Board of Education. With over 14 years in education, law, and community leadership, she has dedicated her career to advancing equity and justice. She has served as an Administrative Director for the Governor’s Commissions on Hispanic and Caribbean Affairs and taught as a Spanish teacher in Washington County Public Schools. Her academic credentials include a J.D., an LL.M. in Comparative Law, and a Ph.D. in Communication, with ongoing doctoral studies in International Psychology. As the Founder and Executive Director of Friendly Law, Inc., Dr. Haddad Núñez has empowered underserved communities through accessible legal education. Her bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish enhances her ability to connect with diverse populations.
